The Environmental Leadership Program

The Environmental Leadership Program at the University of Oregon provides the opportunity for students to work with community partners to develop their leadership and professional skills and gain hands-on experience with environmental fieldwork. Past projects have addressed a variety of local environmental issues, such as natural resource management, species conservation, environmental education, and more. This years students interested in conservation science were divided between three separate projects- Restoration and Research, Fire and Fuels, and Climate Solutions- all of which provided their own unique goals and learning experiences.
