Whitewater Ranch
Whitewater Ranch is an organic farm located in Leaburg, Oregon. The ranch lies along the McKenzie River and is at about 700 feet of elevation. The ranch’s grounds are a site of various habitat types including upland and forest area as well as the riparian habitat provided by Goose Creek. Whitewater Ranch currently produces over 100 acres of organic blueberries, and the land itself has historically been used for timber production and cattle farming.

Whitewater Ranch is owned by Jim and Jane Russell and under the management of Seth Morgan.
Following the Holiday Farm fire in September 2020, efforts have been made to restore the burned acres and replant Douglas Fir trees. The slash piles produced in these efforts have been critical to the work of the Ponisio lab.
